In preparation for the Autumn Racing shopping frenzy, Myer has launched their new Autumn Racing Campaign. Their gorgeous collection is filled with rich pinks and purples, autumnal colour palettes combined with beautiful textures, and contemporary twists on classic floral prints.

This racing season we expect to see fascinators traded for hats, or ornate headpieces. For autumn racing hats are typically crafted from felt; it's customary to leave the spring racing straw hat behind. We particularly love the headpieces seen on the models at the MYER launch; these easy to style pieces look divine whether your hair is styled up or down.

For Autumn Racing a dress with a sleeve is a must. Myer showed off their range of classic long sleeve, knee length dresses, plus a few shorter styles balanced perfectly with a sleeve: all drop-dead gorgeous.

The #myeracing collection featured one of our La Maison Talulah dresses, the Vintage Floral Dress, which you can find online and instore at Myer. For the launch, our dress was styled with a gorgeous black headpiece, and light pink fur stole. The makeup complimented the outfit to perfection with a sensual deep berry lip colour heralding the rich beauty of autumn.

If in doubt about what to wear, a tip that we've always ruled by for Autumn Racing is if it's too short or revealing, leave it at home for an evening event. When it comes to shoes, a comfortable block heel, or ankle boot is always desirable when it comes to a long day of standing. Complete the look with either a hand held clutch, or for ultimate convenience a well crafted, long strapped mini-handbag to store your race day essentials.

Myer Ambassadors Kate Waterhouse, Jennifer Hawkins,  Jodi Anasta, Nikki Phillips, to name a few are definitely ones to watch if you're looking for style inspiration, or a guide to what's trending this racing season.
